CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE SUPERTRAK RIDERS WHO RECEIVED DONATIONS FOR THE RACE FOR LIFE THIS YEAR! ALL MONEY WAS DONATED TO BC CHILDRENS HOSPITAL! SUPERTRAK CAN BE PROUD TO OWN THE TITLE OF "2ND TOP TRACK" FOR 2013!

The track has been checked today, and unfortunately is still too saturated to ride.
So our local racing season has officially come to an end....:(
Good Luck to all of those travelling to Chilliwack this weekend. PEDAL HARD!

Thank you to everyone who attended today's AGM. Please join me in welcoming Scott Parlee (President), Angela Patterson (TO), Tim Dunphy (Track Director), Don MacKinnon returning as Secretary.
Just a reminder that we need a few volunteers to take on the roles of concession and web-master, so please contact the Board if you are able to assist.
Please feel free to forward any questions you might have. Please note that we will work on changing names and contact information over the next week to reflect the election results.

BMX Canada staff is currently verifying participation at the PCF recently held in Prince George to finalize the provincial points to determine who is getting the plates and bags for the champions.
Once completed, the awards will be shipped to Chilliwack for the Grands. For those not going to Chilliwack, the awards will be brought back to Prince George for distribution.
The points after the Provincial Finals are tabulated and the list has been printed. The list will be available at the track for anyone to have a look at.

The financial statements are presented to the members of Supertrak BMX at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). The financial statements are always made available upon request.

The Certificate of Incorporation as well as the By-Laws of Suprtrak BMX Society are in a binder in the registration office and have always been available for viewing at any time.
Respectfully, DO NOT REMOVE the binder from the registration office as it is a requirement that the documents remain at the track address, however copies can certainly be made for anyone interested.

We had originally set the date of the AGM for October 2nd, however due to it getting dark so early and a school night we are moving it to Sunday Oct 6th after racing. To support all members in the voting procedures, please see the following steps:
1) If you would like to nominate someone for a Board position you can confidentially submit the name of the person you wish to nominate with a seconder to the Concession (voting box) in writing by Monday September 23rd.
2) The nominations will then be confirmed and announced to the general membership the same day.
3) This provides the membership time to consider the nominees for each position. On October 6th, you can submit your vote, which is 1 vote per registered member. The Board job descriptions are available at Registration for people who would like to have one. After the names are announced they will be posted at registration.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask, email the Board at our emails listed on the contact page of the web-site.
The open positions are:
President- two year term
Track Operator- only a one year term
Secretary- two year term
1-Track Director- two year term
Positions filled for next year are:
Vice President –Joanna Pierce (has one more year on her term)
Track Director- Dave Pion (one more year on his term)
Marni Braaten- Treasurer (one more year on her term)
We will also be requiring a concession coordinator.
